The deck is flatter to provide more foam under the chest for improved paddling, while the lower rails increase sensitivity and responsiveness. Additionally, the rear fin has been moved slightly forward to allow for tighter turning in smaller waves. Underfoot, the MF Lightning feels fast, sharp, and highly reactive, generating speed effortlessly while maintaining control through turns. It excels in small to medium conditions where quick acceleration and responsiveness are key, allowing for clean arcs and tight, precise manoeuvres in the pocket.
