Firewire Machado Seaside Gallery Medium Quad Fin - Single Tab

The Firewire Machado Seaside Quad Gallery Edition represents the latest evolution of one of the most popular Quad fin sets designed by Rob Machado. Originally developed specifically for the Seaside, these fins take inspiration from the feeling of a traditional Twin Keel to deliver a unique combination of drive, speed, and carving performance, with the added control and versatility of a Quad setup.

For the new Gallery Edition, Rob Machado refined the original design to create an even more balanced, responsive, and versatile fin set. The front fins now feature slightly more rake, while the rear trailers are more upright, maintaining the long, flowing carving feel of the original Seaside Quad while adding quicker and more immediate pivot through tighter turns.

These updates create a larger sweet spot and give surfers more freedom in rear-foot positioning over the tail. The result is a setup capable of drawing long, powerful turns with plenty of drive while still allowing quick direction changes, tight pivots, and easier fin release for a looser, more progressive approach.

The foil and construction have also been updated. The front fins feature 2 degrees less cant, a slightly fuller foil, and increased stiffness compared to the previous generation. The rear fins also feature increased curve, a fuller foil, and a slightly stiffer construction, delivering a more precise and controlled feel underfoot.

In addition to these performance refinements, the complete fin set is now approximately 15% lighter than the previous generation, increasing responsiveness and agility. Although originally designed around the Firewire Seaside, the Machado Seaside Quad Gallery Edition has been developed to perform across a wide variety of surfboards with a Quad fin setup.
