The spirit of adventure, adrenaline and freedom are aspects that characterise both surfing and skateboarding, two sports that are intrinsically linked.
Although skating is a sport focused on performing tricks, it is also a common means of transport in urban areas. Skateboards measure up to around 32'' and are ideal for doing your ollies, flips and grinds in the streets or at skateparks. But if your aim is to feel the speed, the longboard is what you're looking for. With its rigid platform and larger wheels, you can count on a good grip and lots of speed.
As skateboarding is also used as a training method to improve the technique in the water, the surf skateboard was developed. It was especially designed to help you perform the movements in a fluid way in surfing. While skateboards have small, rigid wheels, those of surfskates are generally larger and softer.
Whether you're a professional skateboarder or a beginner, we're sure you'll find your new skateboard at Surfers Lab.
